Serving Our Neighbors, One Meal At A Time!

The Trenton Rotary Club once again joined forces with the Trenton Salvation Army Mobile Canteen for another successful evening of service, demonstrating our club’s ongoing commitment to helping those in need throughout the City of Trenton.

On July 24th, our dedicated team served 222 hot meals across four locations, providing comforting plates of pasta with meat sauce, along with canned pears, homemade brownies, candy, and bottled water. In addition to the meals, Rotarians and volunteers distributed 161 pairs of socks, clothing, and even a toy, helping to meet some of the basic needs of those we encountered.

This important outreach would not have been possible without the generous efforts of our volunteers. Serving on the Canteen were John Murphy, Jesse Pagenkopf, Henry Pagenkopf, Audrey Pagenkopf, Dean Pagenkopf, Jim Lynch, and Charlie Parkerson, whose dedication and compassion made a meaningful impact throughout the evening.

A special thank you goes to Jesse Pagenkopf and Chris Secrist for baking the delicious homemade brownies that brought smiles to so many faces. These thoughtful touches remind us that kindness often comes in the smallest gestures.

The Trenton Rotary is proud to partner with the Trenton Salvation Army in this vital community service project.
