Trenton Rotary Continues Its Commitment to Serving the Community!

The Rotary Club of Trenton was once again proud to partner with the Salvation Army Mobile Canteen on Friday evening, continuing our longstanding commitment to serving those in need throughout the City of Trenton.

Despite threatening skies throughout the evening, the rain held off, allowing our volunteers to enjoy another successful night of service. Thanks to the dedication of our team, we served 197 hot meals consisting of shredded chicken, rice with tomatoes, bread, diced fruit, cookies, and bottled water to members of our community facing food insecurity.

Representing the Rotary Club on the canteen were John Murphy, Peter Asaro, Kevin Quilty, Shane Henderson, and Charlie Parkerson, who worked together to prepare and distribute meals with kindness and compassion. A special thank you goes to Kevin Quilty and Anthony Maimone for generously providing the cookies that helped make each meal a little sweeter.

The Salvation Army Mobile Canteen remains one of our club’s most meaningful service projects, giving Rotarians the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact in the lives of our neighbors. Every meal served is a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a tremendous difference.
