Trenton Rotarian Takes Part in Declaration of Independence Reading

The Rotary Club of Trenton would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Charlie Parkerson for representing our club during the public reading of the Declaration of Independence as part of Trenton’s America 250 celebrations on July 8th.

This annual tradition is a meaningful way to honor the principles upon which our nation was founded and to remember the courage and vision of those who signed our country’s founding document 250 years ago. Held in historic Trenton, the ceremony brought together community leaders, residents, and visitors to celebrate our shared American heritage.

Charlie did an outstanding job participating in this patriotic event and proudly represented the Rotary Club of Trenton with dignity and enthusiasm. His willingness to volunteer his time for such an important community celebration reflects Rotary’s commitment to service, civic engagement, and preserving the history that has shaped our nation.

As our country continues its America 250 commemorations, events like these remind us of the importance of honoring our past while inspiring future generations to remain active and engaged in their communities.
