Shark Tank
Hopewell Valley High School’s elective entrepreneurial class features a Shark Tank project. Their teacher, Mrs Tracy Morgan, gives her students various assignments to enable them to select their ideas for products or services to develop as a case study in their teams. During this selection process over 20 Trenton Rotarians and other community members meet with the students to enable them sharpen their product ideas, and develop financial and marketing plans. Once they are ready, the student teams present to a group of business people, including Rotarians, acting as Sharks. The Sharks actually judge the merits of the student project based on 6 criteria outlined by Mrs Morgan.
The winning teams are presented with award certificated at Hopewell Valley High School’s award night ceremony each June.
